I was born in Japan, but was brought up in Ireland. I have lived in Ireland, Sweden, Kenya and Romania in recent years.

I have worked in IT and Telecoms for a number of years, but I have always felt a strong creative urge.  

When I was four or so, my favourite toy was a little camera - I would pretend to go around and photograph imagined scenes. That toy camera has long gone, but I still love photography.

I work mainly in portraiture, event and documentary photography. My portraiture intent is to photograph real people in their best light. In Kenya, I had the opportunity to work with the Irish Embassy and the Kenya Irish society on a number of fruitful projects of a documentary nature.

I am currently living in Stockholm.
